Monika founder of The Quiet Home Edit said

"For years, people have been asking me where my clothes are from, my jewelry, my shoes. Most of my answers pointed to one country. The country I’m from and love very much — POLAND.

What I love about Polish design is the colour and pattern. You see it particularly in ceramics, where bold combinations and traditional patterns create pieces that feel completely individual. There’s also a wonderful tradition of making by hand. In different parts of Poland, particularly in the mountain regions, traditional crafts, embroidery and handmade decorations have been passed down through generations.

For me, that mix of colour, pattern and craftsmanship is what makes Polish pieces so special. They have a sense of history, but don’t have to feel old-fashioned. I love finding pieces that bring a little of that character into a contemporary home.

Poland isn’t the only place I’ll look, but it’s certainly where my eye and my love of beautiful things began. I want to bring together pieces that combine different styles, cultures, patterns and traditions to create a one-of-a-kind look."
